April 18 - International Day of Monuments and Historical Place

This day is celebrated all over the world as well as in Azerbaijan. The cultural heritage of Azerbaijani people is inseparable part of human culture.

Therefore belonging to centuries old historical past , preservation of history and culture monuments has international significance.

Historical monuments – tombs, palaces, temples , mosques, cemeteries, bridges, reservoirs, domes, minarets and etc is material memory than the historical past .
